Ello again :)

Cinema 4d and Photoshop

Hmm i wonder where i got the inspiration for this from..................lol

Ok, well i havnt really dun anyfin with photoshop for months except make textures, im always inspired by wire's stuff and today i was browsing his gallery and I thought I'd have a crack at some sorta mimic............I know its a shameful attempt but nevermind.

If your reading this wire, sorry dude, with work like yours, its bound to be replicated, but at least i have the guts to stand up and say I did attempt something similar to what you do!!

Watchers, you'll prolly hate this, you watch me for 3d but oh well :P

Regards

Ben

Mine isn't better, just different ;)

As far as people being better are concerned, its an ever increasing circle, the people that are better used to be the same level as us, they only got better cos they were trying to become as good as the person that was better than them :)

Well my friend I gatta tell you, you're one of the people I'm tryin' to get as good as. I do realize that once this deployment I'm on (Afghanistan) is over, I'll be going back to my 3D modeling 1 class and I'll be kicking the snot out of the other students who haven't even touched MAYA yet but It's like I want to know it all right now and I know I've really only begun to understand the basics of modeling. By the way how is that bill comming along, you know benjamin?

Thankyou for such a kind comment!
I used to really suck believe me, i mean really suck, i was using bryce *bleh doing renders of really shitty textures and chrome balls, you know, the average newb stye renders!! The fact that you have jumped straight into MAYA is admirable indeed, i use cinema4d, i dont think i'll ever change, i love the layout. I used maya at uni for a few hours and i found it really hard, but then again that was like 2 years ago!

As for the bejamin, ive been really caught up trying to get a website up for prospective employers, its not finished, the design isnt there but you can see what i've got so far benservice.com Also i got really caught up with this project, i've got another in the pipeline and then i'll be doing the benjamin, trust me!!!

Thanks again friend

Yeah the whole thing was done in cinema 4d with a bit of post pro in photoshop, I did the poster in illustrator and then saved it off with alpha channels.

Thanks for the comment
