I cant take credit for the creative idea here because i saw a very similar photo (without the water) somewhere sometime, i cant remember where or by whom it was taken so if you know then please let me know.

Just another quick pic, only about 3 hours, the ladybird was a just a few splines for the legs and 3 spheres for the body, painted the textures in PS as per usual.

I like the general picuter just not the lady bug. The water gives a deeper thought.

aww that's cute, i like the way they're (the ladybug and the drops of water) in genesis, the beginning of everything, special symbolism :)
it would've been cool if the water had sort of sunk into the page (which is what it should of done if it weren't digital water - no matter ^^) but i guess computers can't do everything - yet :)

Ooooh, I like this one a lot! Whoever commented on the water drops not leaving a shadow... um... looks like there's soft shadows to me... Nicely done!

the colour and texture on the book is good, but i dont like the ladybug and the water :P
ladybug looks stretchy and the water doesnt leave a shadow on the book
but its a good idea, and love the concept! :clap: :D (+ you didnt really put a load of effort in it either)

yeah im not keen on the bug either, the book texture was just a very low octave noise bump map with a scanned page out of my old bible :)
